Our Beliefs

  • We believe in the one Triune God; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, and that Jesus Christ alone is Lord of all and the only way of salvation.  He is not just one way to God among many. He is the one and only bridge to link sinful people to God
  • We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Triune God’s revealed Word, and the Church’s only wholly trustworthy, authoritative, and infallible rule of faith and life.  The teaching of Scripture is not made null and void by the shifting tides of cultural opinion.

The above two convictions form our bedrock of belief

  • As children of The Holy God, we believe that we are called to holiness through Jesus Christ in all aspects of life.    However, as humans we all have sinned and will sin. Sin in any form separates us from God.  Repentance of sin allows for restoration of our relationship with God by His grace.  Some of the sins that separate us from God and are inconsistent with His design for us are gluttony, gossiping, lying, stealing, cheating, coveting, drunkenness, and inappropriate pride. God has graciously provided boundaries to govern our lives, not to restrict or punish men and women, but to ensure the wholeness of individuals, families and communities. Thus marriage between a man and a woman is the only relationship within which God permits sexual activity.
  • We believe the Church is the body of Jesus Christ on earth. It is the worldwide fellowship of His disciples, gathered into local congregations, among whom God is glorified, over whom God rules, and through whom God makes Himself known.   No denomination may be equated with the Church. Denominations are human inventions established to serve God’s kingdom within the Church and the world.
