Our Mission History
CGC is committed to practicing discipleship to change the world in local, national, and international ways by meeting the spiritual and physical needs of people outside our congregation through:
Praying for these people and the missionaries who are sent to them
Sending prepared missionaries or going on mission experiences.
Sending financial and other resources.
Communicating with the missions and missionaries we support.
Mission work has been at the forefront of everything we do here at CGC.
Every dollar that is given to CGC that is not designated for a specific use is split 50/50 between the “ministry fund” (which pays for everything from staff and programs to keeping the lights on), and the “missions fund,” which goes to our missions and missionaries.
Overall, roughly 25% of the total giving goes toward supporting mission efforts.
